according to Ribble (2011) there are nine different elements of digital citenzenship these are :

  • Digital access 
  • Digital commerce :
  •  Digital communication 
  •  Digital literacy 
  •  Digital etiquette
  •   Digital law  
  •  Digital rights and responsibilities
  • Digital health and wellness
  •  Digital security
  • there is no specific order for these nine elements but there are orthodox grouping that are required . the first group involves the learning/working of the user. the second group is the behavior and environment . with this approach it gives relevance as to why the element was included.
