Q.1.1 Ribble (2011) identifies nine elements that make up digital citizenship, encompassing the issue of the use, abuse and misuse of technology. Briefly discuss these nine elements.

according to Ribble (2011) there are nine different elements of digital citenzenship these are :
  • Digital access 
  • Digital commerce :
  •  Digital communication 
  •  Digital literacy 
  •  Digital etiquette
  •   Digital law  
  •  Digital rights and responsibilities
  • Digital health and wellness
  •  Digital security
  • there is no specific order for these nine elements but there are orthodox grouping that are required . the first group involves the learning/working of the user. the second group is the behavior and environment . with this approach it gives relevance as to why the element was included.

THE INDEPENDENT INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (AUP) FOR MOBILE DEVICES ON CAMPUS students are responsible for their own mobile devices. the school will not be held liable for any devices lost,stolen or broken on campus grounds  use of smart phones during tests and examinations are  strictly PROHIBITED . devices are required to be switched off and either handed in to the lecturer or put away with your other personal belongings. any student caught using their mobile phones to cheat on assignment or any other school evaluation will be dealt with accordingly
